Alright my thoughts on the book I just finished for English and a movie I saw last night…

The Great Gatsby. The middle and end was pretty interesting I think. Mainly after Nick and Gatsby started talking… but the ending was confusing. For a few pages I thought Wilson had killed himself or Gatsby killed him… I didn’t know that was how Gatsby died. Also, Daisy is a bitch.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona. I’ve been wanting to see this movie for like three years lol… my mom kept forgetting to add it to the Netflix queue. I heard about it when Penelope Cruz won some award…golden globe? For her performance. She deserved it O.o I really liked her psychotic behavior. Also the switching back and forth to English and Spanish added character. Looking back, I didn’t really think it had a plot though. If you asked me what it was about I woukdnt really know what to say… even if there is a glimmer of a plot, there certainly is no resolution! Vicky loves Juan Antonio but married someone else in the beginning. And it ends with the narrator saying something completely open ended! I don’t like coming up with my own ending… good movie though :P
