As I was editing my Band album on Facebook…seeing all the photos from various trips… It made me really realize how incredibly fortunate I have been to go on all these trips during high school and experience just…everything. The good and the bad.

Through alllll the tedious (and sometimes amusing) marching rehearsals, boring parades, exciting competitions, interesting bus rides, juicy gossip, trips to Syracuse three times, Orlando, and Boston, the Carrier Dome, cold football games, stressful NYSSMA, annoying sectionals, sweaty (but enjoyable) band camp, and sitting through band every day 8th period, I can honestly say I never would have expected any of this. As geeky as it sounds, joining band in 9th grade was the best decision I’ve ever made. (Besides switching to public school which ultimately led to band.)

I love band.
